Reporting Bugs or Game Issues

If something isn't working correctly in WeMod or with a specific trainer, follow these steps to report it effectively and help us resolve it faster.

Reporting an issue

In-App reporting (recommended)

  • Open WeMod and go to the game page

  • Click the “?” icon next to the game title

  • Select “Report an Issue”

  • Follow the steps; if the issue isn’t resolved, a summary will be generated

  • Copy the summary and share it in Discord or email support

Discord support

  • Use:

    • #pro-support (for Pro users)

    • #support (for free users)

  • Paste the summary from the in-app report or describe the issue clearly

Email support

  • Use a clear subject (e.g., "Trainer Issue: [Game Name]")

  • Include relevant system, game, and account info

  • Attach screenshots if needed

Check the Community or Discord before reporting — many common issues are already addressed.

Information to include

Providing complete details helps us investigate faster:

Account info

  • WeMod username (no password)

  • Subscription Type (Pro - Monthly/Yearly; Free)

System info

  • OS and version (e.g., Windows 11 64-bit)

  • WeMod version (found in Settings)

  • Any relevant background apps (e.g., antivirus, overlays)

Game info

  • Exact game title and version

  • Platform (Steam, Epic, GOG, etc.)

  • Other mods or tools used

  • Single-player only (WeMod doesn’t support multiplayer

Issue description

  • What happened and when it occurs

  • Any error messages (copy/paste or screenshot)

  • What you expected vs. what actually occurred

Troubleshooting attempted

  • Steps already tried and results

  • Patterns (intermittent or consistent)

Additional context

  • Screenshots or videos

  • Relevant dates or update info

Things to try before reporting

Try these steps first, as they resolve many common issues:

Restart and update

  • Restart both WeMod and your game

  • Make sure both are fully updated

  • Reboot your PC

Verify game files

  • Steam: Right-click → Properties → Installed Files → Verify

  • Epic: ... → Manage → Verify

Clean launch

  • Run WeMod and your game as administrator

  • Disable antivirus temporarily

  • Close other apps

  • Launch your game first, then connect WeMod

Test mods one at a time

  • Enable mods individually to isolate issues

  • Disable overlay if the game crashes

  • Switch between fullscreen and windowed modes

Clean reinstall of WeMod

  1. Uninstall WeMod

  2. Delete:

    • C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\WeMod

    • C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

  3. Restart your PC

  4. Reinstall WeMod from wemod.com

Check connection

  • Ensure internet is stable

  • For Pro Remote, verify both devices are on the same network

  • Check for firewalls or security software interfering

After reporting

  • Confirmation: You’ll receive acknowledgment that your report was received

  • Investigation: Support review and attempt to reproduce the issue

  • Follow-Up: You may be asked for additional details or logs

  • Resolution: You'll get instructions, a workaround, or a status update

  • Trainer Update: If needed, the game will appear under "Needs update" in the “Upcoming” tab of the app

How to check if an issue is already known

  • In WeMod App: See the game’s status in the “Upcoming” section

  • On Discord: Search for your game in support channel

Things to report

Supported:

  • Mods not working or crashing the game

  • Trainer not connecting or not detecting the game

  • Interface issues (hotkeys, overlay)

  • Game-specific trainer incompatibilities

  • Account or Pro feature problems

Not supported:

  • Multiplayer usage

  • Pirated or cracked games

  • Anti-cheat circumvention

  • Unsupported or unreleased games
