Game Guide explained

A Game Guide is an interactive, searchable reference tool built into WeMod. Each guide is tailored to a specific game and created by gaming experts to enhance your experience by offering practical tips, strategies, and explanations. It’s designed to work alongside trainers and interactive maps to give you the information you need without the need for external research.

Game Guides functionality & benefits

Game Guides are built to improve your gameplay experience across multiple dimensions by offering:

  • Expert Strategies: Learn how to handle tough bosses, optimize builds, and tackle different play styles.

  • Better Understanding: Get clear explanations of complex game mechanics and systems.

  • Time-Saving Tips: Avoid common mistakes, uncover shortcuts, and find hidden or missable content quickly.

  • Exploration Support: Discover collectibles, secrets, and side quests to help you achieve 100% completion.

  • Smarter Mod Use: Use guides alongside mods and maps for full context—know when and how to use the tools WeMod provides.

Whether you’re new to a game or replaying it for achievements, Game Guides are designed to support beginners, casual players, and completionists alike.

Guide availability

Game Guides are not yet available for all titles, but we’re continuously adding support for more games over time. You can identify supported games by a “Guide” section on the game's page in the WeMod desktop or remote app

Note: Game Guides are not available in the in-game overlay.

Requests for new guides can be submitted through WeMod’s feedback channels (email support@wemod.com, Discord feedback channel or “Submit Feedback” in-app) and are evaluated based on demand.

Using Guides while playing

Although guides aren’t available in the overlay, you can still access them easily:

  • Remote App on your phone or tablet for real-time referencing

  • Alt+Tab to the desktop app if playing on a single screen

  • Pre-session planning, using the guide to take notes or screenshots beforehand

We recommend the Remote App for the smoothest experience.
