Checking game compatibility
You can check game compatibility directly in the WeMod app or on the website:
In the WeMod App
Open the WeMod desktop application
Use the search bar to look for your game by name
If the game appears, it is either already supported or queued for future support
Click the game to view available mods and any special notes
On the Website
Go to wemod.com/cheats
Use the search bar to find your game
Games with trainer support will show a full page with available cheats
Supported games
WeMod supports:
Single-player PC games
Games purchased through digital platforms like Steam, Epic, GOG, and Ubisoft Connect
WeMod does NOT support:
Console games (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
Mobile, browser-based, or VR games
Games with anti-cheat systems that prevent trainer use
Primarily multiplayer-focused titles
Game doesn’t appear in search results
If your game doesn’t appear in search results, it could be due to:
The game is not currently supported
The title was recently released and a trainer is still in development
The game uses a different or unofficial name in the database
It includes anti-cheat protection that blocks trainers
Games appear that you don’t own
Seeing games in your library that you haven’t installed or purchased is expected behavior. WeMod detects games using:
System registry and game installation files
Platform metadata from Steam, Epic, etc.
Previous installs or games that were briefly launched
Examples:
You may see both Mafia III and Mafia III: Definitive Edition
Games like World War Z and World War Z: Aftermath may show up together
This detection ensures compatibility with different editions and versions. Just ignore games you don’t own or haven’t installed — this does not indicate a bug or problem.
