With the version 9.0 release of WeMod, we will no longer support Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. Users on these operating systems will still be able to use version 8.20 but will be unable to update to newer versions. Existing installations on these devices will not receive any further updates, and our support team will be unable to assist with issues that arise.

This change is required as the core framework that WeMod is built on no longer functions on older versions of Windows. Additionally, future versions of WeMod will require Windows features only present in Windows 10 and above.

We strongly encourage all Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 users to update their operating systems. Microsoft has ended all support for these operating systems, meaning they no longer receive security updates. Computers running these operating systems are susceptible to new malware and other exploits that will not be patched.
