Why was WeMod flagged by my antivirus?

Is WeMod a virus?

WeMod is not a virus. We are supported by our Pro members and do not have any reason to distribute malware. Any detection by your antivirus is a false-positive. There are several reasons why your antivirus might flag WeMod or its trainers. The most common cause is the way we protect our code. Unfortunately, some antiviruses automatically flag any file they cannot scan. WeMod currently has over 11,000 5 star reviews on trust pilot https://www.trustpilot.com/review/wemod.com

My antivirus stops me from using WeMod!

When an antivirus flags a file it is normally placed in quarantine to stop it from infecting the system. The quickest way to fix this is to add the two WeMod installation folders, C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod to your antivirus's whitelist.
